Rosemarie Miller

Rosemarie Miller, 72 years old, of Briarcliff Manor NY passed away peacefully on Sunday February 5 at  Westchester Medical Center.  Rosmarie  was born on April 11, 1950  in Bronx NY to Michael DiNapoli and Josephine Leone. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Bill, her brother Michael DiNapoli and sister-in-law Melinda DiNapoli, her daughter Jennifer Mulligan and husband James Mulligan and her son William Miller and son-in-law Peter Wong.  Rosemarie has 2 grandchildren, James and Joseph. 

Most people would know Rosemarie as the manager of Prescription Plus but she is well known as James and Joe’s grandma. Her connection to the community lasted longer as she retired when Joseph was born so she could help out with his childcare.   Her strong personality was legendary in our family.  If Rosie didn’t pick a restaurant, she would undoubtedly choose the absolute wrong meal to order and “refused to go there” again.  She loved her video games and spent many hours playing Colecovision and atari.  She loved playing online games in more recent times.

Her attention to current events and politics kept her sharp and she loved to engage in a friendly discussion with her family members.  Her love for her family knew no bounds as she found joy in family gatherings and time with her grandchildren.  

She was famous for knowing people no matter where we were.  Her warm personality and contagious laugh will always be cherished by her family and friends. 

As Rosemarie would say,”Oh Bill” whenever she was not in agreement with him on any matter.  Keeping her in our memory and the love we have for her will last forever, but the sadness will pass and be replaced by joy from all of the great times we had with her. “Like the sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives”.

Reposing, Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Theresa’s Church, Briarcliff Manor, NY on Thursday 10 AM. Entombment, Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY to follow.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The EHE Foundation (FightEHE.org) in Rosemarie’s grandson’s name Joseph Mulligan.
