Frances Antonini

Frances Antonini, lifelong resident of Ossining, New York, passed away in her daughters home surrounded by family on March 20, 2021, at the age of 83. Frances was born to Severino and Amelia Pala on July 30, 1937. She was named Miss Ossining in 1955 and everyone who knew her, knew she wore her crown proudly throughout her life, as an active member of her community. Frances graduated Ossining high school in 1956 and continued on to the Wilfred Academy of Hair & Beauty in New York City. Frances married the love of her life, Dominick (D.A.) Antonini on December 7th, 1958. They started their family and had two children whom she cherished dearly, Lisa and Gary. In the mid 80’s, Frances opened her beauty salon “The Look By Frances”, an iconic location where so many dreams came true for weddings, proms and special occasions.  She maintained her craft as a Hair Stylist for over 60 years, retiring at the age of 78. Frances made everything around her beautiful.  With her creative eye, she was passionate about fashion and had a keen eye for interior design. Above all else, she loved her family and is survived by her daughter Lisa (Richard) son Gary (Sophia), her brother Sav (Nancy) grandchildren; Gabrielle (Jeffrey) Daniel, Jon, RJ, Dominic, and Giovanna, beloved nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends.  Frances would want to be remembered with a chilled martini, a full shopping cart, and of course, having a great hair day. Charitable donations can be made on Frances' behalf to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Reposing, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-6 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Theresa's Church, Briarcliff Manor, NY on Monday 10 AM. Interment, St. Augustine Cemetery, Ossining, NY to follow.
