Carmela "Millie" Gullotta

Carmela “Millie” Gullotta (nee Di Leo), 89, passed away on December 11, 2020.  Millie was born in Ossining, NY on November 15, 1931, to Albina (Picciano) and Vincent Di Leo.  She attended Ossining schools and graduated from Ossining High School in 1949.  On October 12, 1963, she married the love of her life, Anthony “Tony” Gullotta; they spent many happy years together until his death in 2006.  Millie was a switchboard operator and receptionist, she worked for many years with Tensolite and retired from Burns International Security Services formerly located in Briarcliff Manor.

Millie is survived by her sister, Phyllis Lieto and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her sister, Rose M. Purdy, and her brother Vincent J. Di Leo.  She was a loving sister, Aunt, cousin and friend and will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at St. Ann’s Church in Ossining, followed by burial at St. Augustine’s Cemetery also in Ossining.  Donations in her memory can be made to The American Legion, Post 506 in Ossining, NY or to your favorite charity.  A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a future date.
