Antonio Mosca, 84, of Ossining, NY passed away peacefully on January 2, 2023 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, NY. He was born in the village of Assergi in the Abbruzzo Region of Italy on October 14, 1938. In addition to his parents, Enrico and Domenica (Giampaoli) Mosca, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Agata (Ciampa) Mosca; and his older brother, Angelo Mosca.
Antonio had been employed at General Motors for over thirty years until his retirement. He was a member of UAW Local 664. Being proud of his Italian Heritage, he had been a long-time loyal member of Sons & Daughters of Italy in America. He was a communicant of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church. Throughout his life, Antonio had been a hard-working, skillful, devoted family man, and an avid gardener with a green thumb and loved making wine. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his generous spirit and giving nature. His most cherished moments were spending time with his beloved family; especially when engaging in games and activities with his precious grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons, Franco (Rose) and Enrico Mosca; three grandchildren, Anthony, John, and Mariella Mosca; brother-in-law Angelo and sister-in-law Anna Ciampa; sister-in-law Paola Mosca; nephews, Mario (Marisa) Mosca, Vincent (Anna), Christopher Ciampa; one niece, Mimma Mosca; and numerous cousins in the United States, Canada, and Italy.
