Antoinette (Toni) Ann (Sellazzo) Free

Antoinette Ann (Sellazzo) Free, 74, passed away suddenly on the morning of Wednesday December 22, 2021. “Toni” was an Ossining native and lifelong resident, born on June 24, 1947 to her late parents, Matthew and Tomasina (Grella) Sellazzo. Toni was a devoted mother to daughter Nicole (Free) Ingegneri, son-in law Matthew Ingegneri, and Christopher Derek Free (predeceased). She was also a devoted grandmother to her two granddaughters, Kailee and Adriana Ingegneri. Toni cherished her family and put them above anything else. She was particularly close to her sister, Mary Dolores (Sellazzo) Gates, and her late brother, Leonard Sellazzo. Toni had countless loving friends, many of which she met through her business and passion, hair dressing. Owner of Shear Beauty Salon and hairdresser for Bethel Nursing Home and Kendall-on-the-Hudson, Toni touched the lives of many Ossining residents through her love of hair styling. Toni was also well-known by many Ossining residents through her numerous years as a waitress and hostess in many local restaurants. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, her granddaughters, her sister, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Toni and her infectious smile will be missed immensely. She was a truly genuine and loving person that could light up any room she walked into. Reposing, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home on Wednesday Jan. 5, 2022 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM. Interment will be private.
