Agata Mosca

Agata Mosca (75), a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2021.

Agata was born in Assergi, Italy on December 9, 1945 to Vincenzo and Antonina Ciampa. She was formally educated in Italy and also attended the Scuola Professionale di Taglio receiving diplomas in professional tailoring.

Shortly after marrying the love of her life, Antonio, she immigrated to the United States settling in Tarrytown, NY. She had been employed as a teacher’s assistant and later worked as a salad supervisor at Phelps Memorial Hospital’s dietary department.

Agata is survived by her beloved husband, Antonio of 59 years; her loving sons Franco and wife Rose, and Enrico; her dear grandchildren Anthony, John, and Mariella; her brother Angelo and wife Anna; sister-in-law Paola Mosca; nephews Vincent (Anna), and Christopher Ciampa; Mario (Marisa) Mosca, niece Mimma Mosca, and numerous cousins from the US, Canada, and Italy.

Agata was a long-time parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.

Visitation are on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.

      Face masks are required.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM – Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St. Ann Catholic Church.

Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
