Anne L. (Scozzafava) DeCrenza

Anne L. DeCrenza 75, of Ossining, NY passed away on Feb. 22, 2019 surrounded by her family. Anne was born on July 29, 1943 to the late Frank and Sarah (nee Mancuso) Scozzafava in Croton, NY. Anne was a Cub Scout leader, a softball coach, Past President of the Emblem Club, Ossining Elks Lodge, Past President of Ladies Auxiliary Monitor Hose Company, St. Ann’s Sodality, St. Augustine’s Golden Eagles, Ossining Golden Agers and Croton Damsels Red Hats. Anne loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends. Her greatest loves were her children, grandchildren, her many friends and Montauk. Her hobbies were photography and playing cards. Anne was predeceased by her adoring husband and best friend of 57 years Joseph DeCrenza in 2018. Anne was survived by her loving children Joseph (Kerri) DeCrenza of Ossining, NY, Toni Anne (John) Tatum of Cortlandt Manor, NY and Marc (Courtney) DeCrenza of Fleetwood, NY. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Abby, Ben, Rocco, Ruby DeCrenza and her step grandchildren Jonathan, Kaia Tatum. Anne is survived by her sister Rose (Norman) Villeneuva, her brother Frank Scozzafava, her sister in law Vera Scozzafava and her brother in law Martin Davis. Anne was predeceased by her brother Angelo Scozzafava and her sister Marge Davis. Reposing, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home on Tuesday from 7-9 PM and Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Thursday St. Ann’s Church, Ossining, NY at 10 AM. Interment, St. Augustine Cemetery, Ossining, NY to follow. Anne’s life was extended because she was an organ recipient, please consider donating.
