Stephen T. Di Renno

Stephen T. Di Renno was called to Heaven at the age of 65 on Feb. 6, 2021.
Born in Ossining New York to Rocco and Ann (Diglio) Di Renno, he was predeceased by his loving parents and his beloved son, Wm. Anthony Di Renno.
In October 1981 Steve married Margaret (Margo) Tierney, together they shared 40 happy years raising two sons Stephen Michael and William Anthony.  In later years, they enjoyed extensive travel, exploring many cities and towns in Europe and the United States.
Steve will be remembered for his appreciation of the outdoors.  His chosen profession was working on the beautification of landscapes and gardens for residential clients, He loved tending to the flower and vegetable gardens at his home. An avid baseball fan, softball player, and self-taught pitcher, he looked forward to getting on the field with his teammates in recreation summer and fall leagues, building long standing friendships.  
He spoke about how lucky he was 20 years ago, to welcome his son Michael into the league and have the opportunity to play together and share their love of the game.
Steve was known for his attention to detail in all aspects of life, for his integrity and loyalty, (as well as his witty comebacks and his great smile) He was a charitable person. Among other local contributions to help those in need, he instituted the Wm. Anthony Di Renno Scholarship Award in January 2002.  A self-funded program to assist one graduating student from OHS each year with a financial jumpstart to attend college or trade school.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Margo, His Dear son Michael, Dear Daughter in Law Andreana, and most Beloved Grandson, Antonio.  He is also survived by his sister Patricia and several other truly cherished relatives.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was beautifully celebrated on February 16, 2021 led by Rev. Jorge Cleto O.S.A. at St. Ann's Church in Ossining.
