Manolo Refol Luciano

Manolo Refol Luciano, 62, passed away peacefully  on August 31,2021, at Phelps Memorial Hospital, Sleepy Hollow, NY. Manolo was born on January 1,1959, in Brooklyn, NY to Manuel Luciano and Lealtad Refol. He married on May 20,1989 to Marilou Orbeta, and the couple had one daughter together. He was a laboratory technician at  Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY for 25 years. He retired in 2014 and has been working per diem at American Hormones, Inc. in Hyde Park, NY. Manolo was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Katherine Ashley, and Marilou and always tried his best to support them. Anyone who knew Manolo knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Lealtad. He is survived by his wife, Marilou Orbeta Luciano; their daughter, Katherine Ashley Luciano; his siblings, Arlyne Luciano Onayan and Jones Refol Luciano; and his niece Lea Isidora Onayan and nephews Joshua and Bryce Luciano. Share your stories of remembrance on Sept 9, 2021 at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home from 4:30-8:00pm. Funeral services will follow on Friday, October 10, 2021, at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church at 11am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Manolo’s life.
