Joan Celestine Beldotti was born on January 8, 1940, to Stanley A. Dunajski and Wanda Zalewski in Peekskill, NY.
Joan graduated from Peekskill High School in 1958; she received a scholarship from Claremont Secretarial School. Upon graduation, she was employed by Dr. Stuart Pines and Loyal Rapping for a number of years, then went to work for the New York Central Railroad in NYC.
Joan married Anthony P. Beldotti on November 5, 1966. After Joan received her Real Estate License, she worked with her husband for over 40 years at APB Management Corp.
Joan is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony P., cherished son, Anthony E. (Doreen), and daughter, Stephanie Ann (Adam Felgar). She is also survived by her sister Margaret Dunajski Harde (Henry F.) and nephew, Karl Outman (Debbie) and their children, Kayla and Zachary, and sister-in-law, Carolyn DiVico, and grandchildren Hannah, A. Peyton, Reese, Tellur, Ander (Beldotti) and Lulu Roar (Felgar).
Joan was an active community member, supporting and fulfilling various volunteer roles for the AYSO as a score reporter, coordinator of Jesse Collyer Girls Softball, and later the scheduler and basketball coach for the Ossining Recreation Center. Joan has been a member of the Ossining Rotary Club since 1993 and held many executive positions as well as a Paul Harris Fellow. She was a member of St. Augustine’s Church in Ossining, NY, where she was involved in the midnight run. She presented the St. Augustine’s School with support for various educational learning materials to enhance the student experience.
Visiting Hours are from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Leach & Thomas Funeral Home 45 S. Highland Ave Ossining, NY. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Augustine’s Church, Ossining, NY. Interment to follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery, Ossining, NY.
