Jean A. Gualtiere

Jean Ann (Darts) Gualtiere, long time resident of Briarcliff Manor, New York, passed away July 23, 2021, at the age of 82. Jean was born December 9, 1938, in Washington Heights, NYC to John and Loretta (Leary) Darts. She is a graduate of Fordham University, School of Education.  Jean was a 3rd grade teacher at P.S. 18, in the Yonkers school district for over 25 years.  Jean married Dr. Rudolph Gualtiere in 1962, who predeceased her in 2009.  She is survived by her children Jeanmarie (Robert) Maier, David (Tammy Vitti), John (Laura Reilly), grandchildren Kristen (Liam Moroney) and Drew Maier (Michele Fitzpatrick); Rudy, Conor, Ian, and Tyler Gualtiere; Evelyn and Emma Gualtiere; and great grandchildren Olivia Maier and Cian Moroney.  Also survived by her brother John Darts of Monroe, NY. She is a beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
