Dominick Tarinelli

Dominick Tarinelli , 92 of Ossining passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 in the comfort of his home, after a short illness. He was surrounded by his children and other family members. Dominick was born April 5, 1931 to John and Anna (Corazzino) Tarinelli. He was the youngest of eight children. He graduated Ossining High School, class of 1950 where he played football. Dominick was drafted into the Army, March 12, 1952. He served in the Infintry as a Corporale. He was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He went to Leadership school and was a squad leader for twelve men. Dominick also played football in the Army as a defensive tackle. On September 23, 1956 he married Florence DeCesaris of Ossining, at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church. They had three children Theresa, Dominic, and Karen. Florence predeceased Dominick in 1978 after a long illness. Dominick worked for many years at Printex Corporation, in Ossining, as a silk screen printer. He also worked for KDI Paragon Aquatics as a welder and retired as the Shop Foreman at the age of 74. Dominick loved to play golf, bike ride, and spend time with his family. He also loved to work around the house and was mechanically inclined. Dominick is survived by his daughter, Theresa Eades (Thomas), Dominic Tarinelli (Rita), Karen Tarinelli (Mike Rodrigues). He is also survived by eight grandchildren (Leigh, Christopher, Dominic, Danny, Anthony, Angelo, Kristina, Kara), eight great grandchildren (Micheyla, Joseph, Audrey, Arlo, Enzo, Gianna, Alaina, Milo), as well as many nieces and nephews. Dominick is preceded in death by his parents, wife, sisters, and brothers. Reposing, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Ann's Church, Ossining, NY on Saturday 10 AM. Interment, St. Augustine Cemetery, Ossining, NY 10562 to follow.
