Ann Antonecchia

Ann Antonecchia, the daughter of Maria and Joseph Ferrara, Ann (Ferarra) Antonecchia, of Ossining was born December 23, 1925 and happily married for 73 years to her devoted husband Nunzio Antonecchia who predeceased her in 2019. They were wed on December 1, 1946 in the Bronx, N.Y. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on 187th Street where Ann grew up on the corner of Arthur Avenue. A devoted, loving mother and dedicated employee, Ann retired as Gimbels Department Store’s cosmetic specialist and honored by the company for her dedication and outstanding service.

Ann is survived by her loving children, Angela Modica (Frank) and Dr. Donald Antonecchia (Janet). Ann is predeceased by her loving grandson, Richard Modica and granddaughter, Michelle Modica Kaprinski. She is survived by her adoring grandchildren, Frank Modica (Joanna), Michael Antonecchia (Kayla) and Lisa Antonecchia-Miller (Jeff). Ann was affectionately known as “Nonna" to her five great-granddaughters, Emily Kaprinski, Annie Modica, Valentina Miller, Rafaella Miller and Nicolina Miller
