Valentino Conte of Ossining, NY died on January 30, 2025. He was 81 years old. Valentino was born April 17, 1943 in Sassinoro, Italy to Francesco and Teodora (Duva) Conte. He was a carpenter and mason in Local #235. Valentino enjoyed spending time with his family, the Ossining Senior Center, cooking for big events and making homemade wine. He was a member of the Ossining Fire Department Northside for over 30 years, Knights of Columbus for 50 years along with other community organizations. Valentino is survived by his son Antonio (Theresa), grandchildren, Catie, John and Christina, brother, Emilio, sisters, Vitangela (Modesto) Santucci, Fernanda (Aldo) Capi and several nieces and nephews. Reposing Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Leach & Thomas Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Monday, February 3, 2025 at St. Augustine's Church in Ossining. Interment will follow at the St. Augustine's Cemetery, Ossining, NY.
