Scott Robert Colton, Jr., 40 of Briarcliff Manor died peacefully surrounded by family on September 25th, 2026.

Scott was born on July 11th, 1986 to Suzanne Remy Colton and Scott Robert Colton, Sr. in Mount Kisco, New York and was raised in Briarcliff Manor, New York. He graduated from Briarcliff High School and attended Northeastern University.

A gifted athlete, he excelled at baseball and football. He was team captain, and two time all-league and all-section recipient. He also played football at Northeastern University.

Scott had an entrepreneurial mind and was a key contributor to the family business as Vice President of SRC Properties.

By far his greatest pleasure in life was being with his family: he adored his niece and nephews and loved spending time playing with them.

Scotty will be remembered as an avid New York Giants and New York Yankees fan. Gathering on Sundays dressed in a Giants jersey and enjoying football fare. His kindness, polite demeanor, and caring heart towards family and his dear friends will never be forgotten.

Scotty is survived by his parents, Suzanne and Scott, Uncle Bruce Remy, Grandmother Laurel Colton, Uncle Glenn Colton, his brother Rhett (Jennifer), sisters Jessica (Keith), Melissa (Sandro), niece Isabella, and nephews Sandro Jr., Lorenzo, and Callum. Scotty was predeceased by his adoring grandparents Marilyn and Bruce Remy and Eugene Colton.

Visitation will be held at Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home, 1300 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, New York on Tuesday, September 29th 4pm-8pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Theresa's Church, 1394 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, New York on Wednesday September 30th, at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital Scotty's favorite charity.
