Rose Ann Hewitt of Ossining, NY reached her heavenly resting place on March 21, 2016 in her home at Scarborough Manor surrounded by her family and friends. She was 86. She was the daughter of the late Philip Mulligan and Ann Horan Mulligan. She was born on November 14, 1929 in Manhattan, NY. Rose, for her career, worked in the fashion industry in NYC before becoming a full time homemaker. She was known for her fondness of antiques, garage sales, traveling, anything Irish, and without a doubt loving all of her family. Family always came first. She is survived by her son, James Hewitt and his wife Virginia and their two sons, John and Seamus of Otisville; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Hewitt, and their daughter Kathleen Mackey Hewitt. Rose was also predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Findlay.
