Ronald Rainey, 74, of Ossining, NY unexpectedly passed away on October 29, 2020. Ronald was born on August 22, 1946 to Joseph and Dora Mae Rainey in Ossining, NY. He is survived by his life partner Denise Lissimore, his sons Ronald Rainey, Jr. and DeSean Lissimore, daughters Kimeisha Lissimore, Nia Lissimore, and Deidre Cooper, 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his loving parents Dora Mae and Joseph Rainey, brothers Russell Rainey and Joseph Rainey, Jr., daughter Kelli Rainey, and son Kjuan Lissimore. After graduating Ossining High School, Ronald joined the United States Air Force. He later went on to obtain his CDL and spent many years working as a truck driver. A naturally charismatic extrovert, Ronald was an enthusiastic storyteller with a great sense of humor and an even better smile. Ronald will be remembered for his love of playing the piano, making music, and his spectacular cooking skills. He loved spending quality time with his friends and family, showing his love for them through the meals he often made. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace in the arms of his family and friends that predeceased him.
