It is with great sadness the family and her long-time partner Cris wishes to announce the passing of Renate S. Valentine. She spent her final days at home with her daughters Marianne Joslyn, Kathleen Valentine, Corina Valentine and hospice. Renate was called to heaven on May 22, 2020, she was 76 years young. Renate was born in Germany to Otto and Marie Freckmann. Renate moved to the States 1963 to fulfill her dreams. She was a long-time resident of Ossining, NY. Renate is a past president of the American Legion Post 506 and the president of the Ossining Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary Independent Hose Company #6. Renate was a beloved mother of six children Marianne Joslyn, Michael Valentine(deceased), Kathleen and Christopher Valentine, Corina and James Valentine. Renate is an angel to fifteen grandchildren and a great grandmother of eleven. Private family services will be held at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home in Ossining, NY. Her final resting Place will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, FL to follow.
