Raymond A. Lancto 89, of Briarcliff Manor, NY passed away on November 14, 2022. He was born in North Tarrytown, NY on February 9, 1933, he was the son of Laura Godbout Lancto and Alfred Lancto. After graduation from North Tarrytown High School Ray enlisted in the US Navy and retired with an honorable discharge in 1955. He then began working in the roofing and siding business where he became a master at his trade. He loved animals, nature and the changing of the seasons with long walks especially in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Ray had a wonderful memory and could recall things to the smallest detail which made him a wonderful storyteller. He was predeceased by his sister June Lancto in 2020. In addition to his youngest sister Patricia Bancroft and his nephews Christian and Drew Bancroft he leaves behind his loved ones Robbyn Hayden, Tami, Dean and Kara Righter. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff Manor, NY on Monday November 28th at 11 AM. Interment, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, NY to follow.
