Raymond Copeland,Ph.D was the alpha and omega, the only child of Beula and McClelland Copeland. Raymond is survived by his wife, Joanne and two children from his former wife, Amelia Copeland, Brett Copeland, Jeannelle Groppelli, step-sons Elliot Rivera and Edward.  Also surviving are grandchildren Victoria, Nicole, Deanna and Anthony. Raymond graduated from Brooklyn College, Hofstra (Masters) and University of Indiana Northern University with his PH.D. He served 7 years in the Youth Division of the N.Y.C. Police Dept. and left for a position of Clinical Psychologist with the Yonkers Public School System. He also served part-time at the Clinic of Mental Health in Brooklyn. He had a love for travel and nowhere was too far for him. His main interest was history and witnessing the various cultures of the world. He loved to read non–fiction and had a vast knowledge of classical and jazz music. Music and good food were his love. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, April 6,2015 from 4 to 8 PM.
