Rachel Marie Nolan

Heaven just got a little rowdier-and a lot more Irish. Rachel Marie Nolan was born in Dublin, Ireland, on April 10, 1946, and passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026. At just 19, she immigrated to the United States to build a life entirely her own.

Rachel is survived by her kickass daughters, Paula Diaz and Jill Valente, her beloved sons-in-law, David Diaz and Jeff Valente, her cherished stepchildren, Mark and Denise Tamucci, and her six extraordinary grandchildren-David, Jack, and Grace Diaz, and Addison, Benjamin, and Connor Valente.

"Happily divorced" and fiercely independent, Rachel approached life with humor, grace, and an appreciation for every new day. She loved a good toast, dancing the Lindy, and listening to music.

An avid theatre-goer and lifelong lover of the arts, Rachel found joy in Broadway performances, quiet afternoons at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and travels that took her far and wide-but she always carried Dublin in her heart.

She leaves behind a legacy of laughter and strength, and a reminder to live each day to the fullest and to value your health above all.

Visitation at Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home in Briarcliff Manor 4-6pm on Tuesday May 19th with a celebration of life to follow at 105-ten in Briarcliff Manor 6-7:30pm.
