Muriel Dykstra Fritsche 97, a lifelong resident of Ossining, NY passed away peacefully on Nov. 10, 2021. Muriel was born on Sept. 22, 1924 in Ossining, NY to the late Wiebe and Terese (nee Burns) Dykstra. Muriel graduated Ossining High School in 1942 where she served as secretary of her class. Muriel married her late husband Robert Fritsche on June 8, 1947. Muriel enjoyed traveling the world with her husband but always found peace and solitude returning back home to Ossining where they would enjoy the beautiful Hudson River Views during sunset together. Muriel is survived by her daughter Barbara (Steve) Fritsche Frank, her son Robert (Mickey) Fritsche, her grandchildren Jared (Leann) Frank, Brooke (Anthony) Amo, Allison (Drew) Badger, Robert (Jess) Fritsche, Angela, Rose and Stephan Knapp. Also survived by her great grandchildren Oliver Frank, Mikah, Nora Lucy Amo, Saul Badger, and her friend and aide Lisa McGreggor. Muriel was predeceased by her sister Shirley Biondino. Reposing, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-6 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 5 PM.
