Michael Variano 45, of Briarcliff Manor, NY passed away peacefully on May 16, 2020. He was born on April 21, 1975 to his parents Joseph and Anne in Sleepy Hollow, NY.  Michael's greatest joy in life was being a father to his two children, Matthew and Nicholas, whom he coached in both football and lacrosse. Michael was a graduate of Ossining High School.  He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from Iona College followed by a Master's degree from Mercy College.  Michael proudly served as a teacher in the Hendrick Hudson School District.  His love of film led him to produce 4 independent films. Michael is survived by his loving wife Marcie (DePalma) Variano of Briarcliff Manor, NY, his two sons Matthew and Nicholas, as well as his parents and stepparents Joseph Variano (Nancy), Anne Schiefelbein (Robert), his brother Joseph Variano (Caroline)  of Montrose, NY, his sister Lisa Variano of Cortlandt Manor, NY and two nieces and a nephew.  He was also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Michael was predeceased by his grandparents.
