Baccari, Mary Ann, 94, of New Paltz, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday 12/31/25, at her home at One Zero Place New Paltz, NY. As the daughter of late John and Mary Ready, Mary Ann was born in the Village of Ossining, New York on Feb. 25, 1931. She graduated from Mary Immaculate High School, Class of 1948. Mary Ann is predeceased by her parents John and Mary Ready, her first husband Joseph L. Consaga and younger brother John (Jack) Ready (FL). She is survived by her second husband Nicholas Baccari, her sister Eleanor Meyer (AZ) and her brother Richard Ready and his wife Marguerite King Ready (MA). Her six children, 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild and another on the way; her son Jeffrey S. Consaga (NY) and his two children Jenna and Julia, her son Mark Consaga (NY) and his wife Lori Consaga, her son Christopher Consaga (NY)and his wife Donna Consaga and their three children Cayla Dennis and her husband Jason and their son Jacob, Melissa Consaga and Sarah Del Biondo and her husband Brendan Del Biondo, her daughter Patricia Costakis (NY) and her husband James Costakis and their daughter Angela Costakis Prine and her husband Eric Prine (with a great grandchild on the way), her son James Consaga (NY) and her daughter Cathy Bakker (NY) and husband Mike Bakker and daughter Emma (Crimson ) Bakker. In addition, Mary Ann had several nieces and nephews that she doted over often.
Mary Ann had a curious mind and loved to understand how things work. Her careers involved working for the Urban Renewal of Ossining, NY, she was an administrative assistant for the Comprehensive Alcoholism Center at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY and in her retirement she worked for Nielsen Media Research doing what she loved, gathering data for research and analysis. She also loved classical music, visiting art museums and was an avid reader. She especially loved staying abreast of current events. She will be missed but not forgotten as nothing can replace a mother's love. As she would often say... "Carpe Diem".
There will be a private grave-side ceremony for family and friends at 1 pm on Monday January 12th at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Ossining NY.
In lieu of flowers, please continue Mary Ann's legacy in supporting St. Jude Children's Research or a charity of your choice.
The family thanks the aids and caregivers and the Hospice organization for all their support and assistance the last few months.
