Marilyn J. Slaatten, born March 9, 1949, died at her home in Ossining on April 29, 2016, after bravely battling a long illness.  Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Captain Alf Slaatten and the author Evelyn Healy Slaatten of Briarcliff Manor, and her sister Barbara Slaatten of San Francisco.  Marilyn is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Randi and Joseph W. Sack of Briarcliff Manor, her nephew Joseph A. Sack (Kerri Ann) of Rye, her nieces Lauren Norquist (Eric) of Irvington and Marielle Bush (Robert) of Manhattan, and her grand nieces and nephews, Katharine, Morgan, Brynne, Alexandra Marilyn, Nicholas, Mary, Jack and Lilly.
