Marie DiMichelo passed away on Saturday March 11, 2023 at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home. She was 93 years young. Marie was born on April 15, 1929 in the Bronx to Salvatore and Frances Mele and later became a long time resident of Yonkers, NY where she owned and operated a number of successful businesses. Marie is predeceased by her husband of 68 years Angelo DiMichelo in 2016. Marie is survived by her children Angelo (Toni) DiMichelo of Chappaqua, NY and Beatrice (Cesare) DeRose of Briarcliff Manor, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren Cesare Jr. DeRose, Marco DeRose, Danielle DiMichelo, Jacquelyn DiMichelo and her great grandchildren Sabrina DeRose, Juliana DeRose, Esme DeRose and Maxwell DeRose. Marie and her beloved husband Angelo retired to Sarasota, FL where they spent many happy years. Marie was a parishioner of St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff Manor, NY. Reposing, Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Theresa's Church, Briarcliff Manor, NY on Thursday 11:30 AM. Entombment, Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in Marie's name to Doctors Without Borders would be appreciated.
