Obituary
Margaret "Peggy" T. Palka, a lifelong resident of Ossining, NY, passed away August 18, 2012. Mrs. Palka was born on September 6, 1935, in the Bronx, NY to Thomas E. and Anne M. (Breen) Truss. She was a graduate of Ossining High School, Columbiette of Ossining, and a Confraternity of Christian Doctrine Teacher.
On May 4, 1957, Margaret "Peggy" Truss married John S. Palka, Sr., at St. Augustine's Church in Ossining, NY. They were married for 55 years. Mr. Palka predeceased his wife in August 2007.
She is survived by her children, John, Jr., Catherine Williams, Thomas, David and Randy Palka, 13 wonderful grandchildren, whom she was very fond of and loved dearly, David Scott Lincoln, David Joseph Palka, Randilynne Lincoln, John S. Palka III, Carylann Palka, Melanie Ann Palka-Asadoorion, Samantha Nicole Palka, Thomas Edward Palka, Jr., Timothy Jude Williams, Jr., Richard Andrew Randy, Jr., Katlyn Marie Palka, Rachael Ann Palka, Christopher Michael Palka, and 4 great-grandchildren, Julia Rose, Matthew, Elizabeth, and Katherine. She was very proud of her grandsons, Westchester County Police Officer David Scott Lincoln, and USMC Captain David Joseph Palka, stationed in Oklahoma. She was predeceased by her daughter, Caryn Marie Palka.
No Visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 10 AM, at St. Augustine Church, 381 North Highland Ave., Ossining, NY.
Interment Private
