Lurene M. Stevenson 93, of Brewster, N.Y. died on May 9, 2017. She was born on July 11, 1923 to the late Joseph and Rose Vancellette in Waterbury, CT. Lurene was predeceased by her devoted husband, Edward John Stevenson in 2007 and by her sister, Doris (Ernest) Marggraff and is survived by her loving children, James E. (Susan) Stevenson of Greenwich, CT., Christine (Vincent) DeLucia and Janet (Ralph) Casino both of Danbury, CT., Anne (Salvatore) DeBlasi of Ossining, N.Y and Laura (Joseph) Ricci of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. one sister, Joan (Thomas) Sturgis of Woodbury, CT. also survived by her nine cherished grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Reposing, Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. on Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St.Theresa's Church, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
