Josephine M. Prewitt 94, a lifelong resident of Ossining, NY passed away peacefully on May 26, 2019 at her residence. Josephine was born on April 27, 1925 to the late Carmine and Lillian (nee Ross) Zumbo in Ossining, NY. Professionally Josephine was a teacher's aid at the Claremont School in Ossining, NY. Josephine is survived by her devoted husband Richard Prewitt of Ossining, NY. She is also survived by her son Robert (Kathy) Broderick of Granby, CT her grandsons Greg Broderick and Tim Broderick, her three granddaughters Jessica Broderick, Jena Broderick and Julie Broderick as well as her daughter in law Barbara Broderick of Plano, Tx. Also survived by her grandson Jeff (Erin) Broderick and great grandson Asher Scott Broderick. Josephine was predeceased by her first husband Robert Broderick, her son Scott Broderick and her brother Lawrence Zumbo. Funeral Mass, St. Ann's Church, Ossining, NY on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment, St. Augustine's Cemetery, Ossining, NY to follow.
