John L. Toppi 82, of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. and formerly of Mt.Vernon and New Rochelle, N.Y. died on Jan.11, 2020 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. He was born on August 30, 1937 to the late John and Elsie (nee Fanelli) Toppi in Yonkers, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Navy. John was a retired General Mgr. with Pepsi Cola Bottling Corp. in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. John is survived by his devoted wife, Kathleen (nee Smith) Toppi of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. and by his loving children, John (Janice) Toppi of Eastchester, N.Y., Ann Marie (David) Catania of Mahopac, N.Y. and Lynda (Pasquale) Malgieri of Croton on Hudson, N.Y. one sister, Beverly Girardi of Palm Harbor, FL. Also survived by his five cherished grandchildren, Bruno, Ava, Alyssa, Leanna and Gabriella. Reposing, Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Theresa's Church, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
