John Joseph Consorti 88, of Ossining, NY passed away on Nov. 8, 2018. John was born on Oct. 19, 1930 to the late Carlo and Nicolina (nee Sabatini) Consorti in Atri Teramo, Italy. John proudly served two separate tours of duty in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. John was predeceased by the love of his life Dolores (nee Venier) Consorti in 2012. He was a mail carrier for the USPS in Briarcliff Manor, NY for 32 years. He was an associate member of the Ossining Fire Dept. Independent Hose Company, a member of the Ossining Leather Necks and an Umpire and Official for NYS/ Westchester County baseball and football. John was an avid sportsman who loved the Green Bay Packers. John is survived by his loving children John C. Consorti of Ossining, NY, Susan (Stephen) Policello of Putnam Valley, NY, Gina Consorti of Ossining, NY and Karen Consorti of Ossining, NY. John is also survived by his cherished granddaughter Elizabeth Policello. John was predeceased by his sister Josephine Cappozzuchi in 2007 and his brother Luigi Consorti in 1978. Reposing, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Augustine Church, Ossining, NY on Tuesday 10 AM. Interment, St. Augustine Cemetery, Ossining, NY to follow.
