Janice Louise Ferrini,75, passed away on May 14, 2015. Janice was a resident of Ossining for  37 years. She was born on December 28, 1939 in Philipsburg, N.J. to Harold & Mildred Shaffer. Janice is survived by her loving husband John. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage August 28, 2015. She is predeceased by her parents Mildred and Harold Shaffer and her sister Lucille. Janice had a great  love of animals and volunteered much of her time at the Briarcliff SPCA. She also enjoyed flower & vegetable gardening and spending  time with family & friends. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 3 - 7pm. Funeral Services will be at The Scarborough Presbyterian Church 11:00 AM Monday, May 18, 2015. Burial to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to The American Cancer Society www.cancer.org
