James (Jimmy) L. Castaldi passed away on Tuesday, May 12, at the age of 64 after fighting a long and very courageous battle with enphysema and lung cancer. Jimmy is prededeased by his father, John. He is survived by his loving partner of 20 years, Lucille Alexander, where they lived joyously in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. James is lovingly remembered by his mother Rose, brother John and his children Amanda, John and James, sister Deborah McVan and husband Michael and their children Lauren, who he treasured like a daughter and Jesse who he looked upon as a son. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins and many devoted friends. Jimmy was born in Port Chester,N.Y. on June 22, 1950. His passion for golf earned him a scholarship to the University of Miami. Since retiring, he spent many happy hours with his beloved four legged son, alfie, whose affection for him was immeasurable.
