James C. Brady a lifelong resident of Ossining, NY died suddenly on September 27, 2012. He was 56. Jim had worked as a dispatcher for a fuel oil company and prior as a MTA Police Officer. Jim was born in Ossining on December 3, 1955 (last baby to be discharged from the Old Ossining Hospital) to Francis and Ruth Harrington Brady. He graduated from Ossining High School in 1974 and Westchester Community College in 1976 with an associate's degree. Locally Jim was a 38 year active member of the Ossining Fire Department serving as Captain of Independent Hose Co #6 in 1986. He was also a driver and served on many committees' over the years, member of the Knights of Columbus and had been an Auxiliary Police Officer in Ossining. He is survived by his son Sean of Ossining, one brother Frank "Buster" of Thousand Oaks, Ca. and two nephews.

Reposing Ossining Funeral Home, 45 S Highland Ave., Ossining, NY on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass St. Augustine Church, Ossining on Wednesday at 10am. Burial following at St. Augustine Cemetery. Memorial donations can be sent to the Firemen's Home, Hudson, NY.
