Ida Ann Policello of Ossining, NY died on December 15, 2022. Ida was born in Ossining,NY on March 15, 1936 to Benjamin and Anna (Sansavera) Leonelli. On February 20,1955 Ida married her husband of 67 years George Policello. Ida worked for Mallory Batteries and then together with her husband she was the owner/operator of a home delivery service out of Diamond Dairy in Tarrytown, NY. She also was a volunteer in the kitchen at St. Ann's School. Ida is survived by her husband George, children, George (Sharon), Stephen (Susan) and Lisa (James), grandchildren, Tara (Stephen), Ben (April), Rebecca, Elizabeth and Timothy, great grandchild, Ayla, her best friend, Anne DiCioccio and known as her two adopted daughters, Margaret Eltablawi and Desiree Robinson. Reposing on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Leach & Thomas – Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at St. Ann's Church in Ossining. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Gullotta House Inc. 72 N. State Road #175, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510.
