Helen Frances Smith 95, formerly of the Bronx, NY and most recently of Briarcliff Manor, NY passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024. Helen was born on September 16, 1928 to the late James and Rose (née Carey) Manning. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her sense of humor and her love for her family. Helen was predeceased by her devoted husband, Buel Smith, in 2012, and is survived by her three loving daughters: Helene Smith of Manhattan, Gerianne Bittlingmaier (Fred) of Briarcliff Manor, and Maureen Schoen (James) of Yorktown Heights, NY. She cherished her six grandchildren: Joseph, Robert, Nicole, Kevin (Melanie), Ellen and Gregory, as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff Manor. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Helen's name to either the Little Sisters of the Poor or the American Kidney Fund.
