Gwen Dykstra DeMaria (Nee Weeks) 94, formerly of Ossining and most recently of Mahopac, NY passed away on Oct. 27, 2021. She was born on Nov. 22, 1926 in Ossining, NY. Gwen was an avid BINGO player who loved to visit the Casinos. Professionally Gwen worked at the Westchester Medical Center in the Dietary department until 1991 when she retired. After retirement she bowled in the women's league in Ossining and Briarcliff. Gwen was a lifetime honorary member of the Tarrytown Boat Club. She was born and lived in Ossining for 75 years before moving to Mahopac, NY. Gwen is survived by her devoted husband Gabe DeMaria, her son Chuck Brower of Granby, CT, her grandchildren Jason (Paroo), Logan and Mackenzie Brower, as well as several cousins, stepchildren and step grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Christopher Brower. Reposing, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home on Saturday from 11 AM- 3PM. Interment will be private.
