Gregory J. McWilliams of Ossining, passed away on Wednesday June 5th surrounded by his family at the age of 70.

He was born to parents Charles and Carmen (Perry) on October 22nd, 1948 in Ogdensburg, New York. Gregory graduated valedictorian from Sackets Harbor Central and received a degree in architecture from Pratt Institute. Gregory was an admired A.I.A. (American Institute of Architects) Architect in Westchester and surrounding communities. He served on numerous boards such as the Planning/Architectural Review Board and Westchester County Professional Pre-qualification Board. In 2015, he was honored by the Westchester Municipal Planning Federation with the "Distinguished Citizen Planner Award".

Gregory is survived by his wife Catherine of 48 years, children Brian McWilliams, Kevin (Dana) McWilliams, Marc (Jeanette) McWilliams, sister Sue (Barry) Smith and brothers Charles (Virginia) McWilliams, Mark (Shayne) McWilliams. He will be fondly missed by his four grandchildren Maximilian, Oliver, Sydney and Zoe in addition to his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone. Gregory loved sports, especially the New York Yankees and Knicks. He also enjoyed playing golf, skiing, reading and spending time in Montauk, as well as Windham. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Westchester and the amazing doctors, nurses and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

The wake will be held on Sunday, June 9 from 3 - 7 p.m. at Leach and Thomas Funeral Home on 45 South Highland Avenue, Ossining, New York.

Mass and funeral will take place on Monday, June 10 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, on 381 North Highland Avenue, Ossining, New York.
