Felix A. Petti ("Phil"), 85, died Friday, May 11, 2016 at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow following a sudden illness.He leaves his wife of 59 years, Louise (Nuzzo) Petti; his son, Mark and his wife, Anna (DiGabriele) Petti; his son David Petti; two grandchildren Elena and Matthew; and many close friends.Born and raised in the Bronx, the son of Antonio and Adalgisa (Ruotolo) Petti, he was a longtime resident of Briarcliff.In his early years, Mr. Petti attended Cardinal Hayes School in the Bronx and after graduation attended Fordham University, graduating in 1952 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. He met his wife, Louise through his many dear friends and they were married in 1956 at Our Lady of Pity Church. Drafted into service in the Korean War, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1961.After serving with the Army, Mr. Petti worked several jobs most notably with the New York Telephone Company and AT&T Lucent Technologies in sales and marketing where he earned many awards and accolades. Upon his retirement, Mr. Petti proudly worked as a substitute teacher in the Briarcliff Manor and Pleasantville middle and high schools.

A regular churchgoer, he was an usher at St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff. A funeral service will be held March 15th at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff Manor with private burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
