Elizabeth Marlene Jaenike (nee Pecoroni), 73, of Ossining, NY and San Francisco, passed away unexpectedly early February 14. Survived by her husband of 50 years William; sons Chris (Karen) and Eric (Jennifer); grandchildren Max and Mia; siblings Susie Pozega (Mike) and Robert Pecoroni (Marymargaret); sisters-in-law Ellen Marsh (Vic) and Marian Hoke (Robert); and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty battled rheumatoid arthritis for 40 years, finally surrendering her Ossining Tennis team Co-captaincy and her acclaimed silversmith career. She then took up contemporary painting and wood sculpting. A high honors graduate of Skidmore '63 and Rochester Institute of Technology's School for American Craftsmen '66. A Mass of the Resurrection at St. Theresa's Church, Briarcliff, 11 AM Saturday, will celebrate her life, Donations to Skidmore, RIT, or an Inner-City Scholarship Fund welcome.
