In Loving Memory of Diane Di Chiaro
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Di Chiaro, born on July 1st, 1951. She was a woman whose personality and life exemplified love, kindness, and selflessness. Diane was a devout Catholic and devoted wife to Bart Di Chiaro for 51 years, and together they took pleasure in raising their four children: James, Michael, Kristen, and Katelyn. She left this world peacefully surrounded by her family after a decades-long battle with cancer.
Diane's love and warmth did not stop with her children as she joyously embraced the role of grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren: Mia, Callie, Lacey, Nathan, Jordan, and Jack. Family was of the utmost importance to Diane and her love and care sculpted the lives of multiple generations. Each family milestone was celebrated and cherished by Diane who made every moment special through thoughtful acts that displayed her caring nature.
As a passionate pre-school teacher for many years, Diane dedicated herself to fostering the growth and development of countless young children. She took pride in her work and her most recent role at Bet Torah Nursery School was something that she truly enjoyed and continued despite her weakening condition. Additionally, she formed unbreakable bonds and friendships with her fellow peers that will not be forgotten.
Diane's love for nature was a cornerstone of her life. Whether cultivating her indoor and outdoor gardens or simply spending time in the great outdoors she adored the world that surrounded her. Her sanctuary was the family's country home where she spent much time enjoying a simple life, which included watching wildlife and laughing at the hummingbirds that would quarrel on the porch a mere few feet before her.
Her acts of selflessness were continually on display and defined her character. Always putting others first, doing things when least expected, and enduring through the most difficult of times were attributes of Diane's kind heart. She had a heart of gold and took great joy in sharing in the happiness of those around her.
Her legacy will live on through her family, the countless lives that she touched, her love and devotion to nature, and the many hearts of those who knew her.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and kindness that blossomed around her which she so deeply cherished.
