David F. Bubser 86, of Bedford Hills, NY and formerly of Briarcliff Manor, NY passed away on Dec. 9, 2018. David was born on July 2, 1932 to the late Andrew and Florence (nee Raring) Bubser in Pottsville, PA. David married the love of his life Maryellen (nee Powers) Bubser who predeceased him in 2014. David had two brothers Andrew and James Bubser. David bought, sold and traded stocks and bonds in NYC in his professional career. He prided himself on serving his community through various forms of volunteering. David was a warm welcoming person who opened up his home to everyone. David was extremely passionate about life, family, food, sports, and gardening. David had five children David F. (Julie) Bubser, Jr. of Northfield, MN., Robert A. (Jean) Bubser of Mt. Laurel, NJ., Thomas J. (Deborah) Bubser of NY, NY., Amy M. Bubser of Riverdale, NY and Elizabeth A. (Andy) Mailhot of Oxford, MA. David also had nine cherished grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Visitation, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home, on Friday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 117 Valley Rd Katonah, NY on Saturday 10 AM. Interment private.
