Obituary

Sadly, our beloved Christine Gentile Coulson, 55, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026. Born on December 28, 1970, in Yonkers, New York, Christine was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her. She exemplified what it meant to live fully, offering warmth, compassion, and unwavering kindness to everyone she met.

While attending State University at Oneonta, Christine met the love of her life, Thomas Coulson III. Their love became the foundation of the beautiful life they built together. Married on September 18, 1999, they created a home centered on faith, family, laughter, and abiding love to one another. Their greatest blessings were their children, Ryan and Ava, who were the true joy and pride of Christine’s life. Being their mother was her most treasured role and the accomplishment she held closest to her heart.

Christine held a distinguished career in business, working at Tanto Irrigation for the last 15 years, culminating in her role as Vice President of Finance. She was admired for her leadership, dedication, and integrity, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the company.

Christine is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas Coulson III; her beloved children, Ryan and Ava; her loving parents, Hans and Debra Gentile; her in-laws, Thomas and Lynda Coulson; her dear grandmother, Rita Gentile; her siblings: Michelle DeVivo and her husband, Thomas; Denise Servello and her husband, Frank; and Hans Gentile and his wife, Cortnee, and her sister-in-law, Tracy Coulson. She was a proud and adoring aunt to Tavia, Frank, Thomas, Gia, Daniela, Michael, and Gemma. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who were blessed by her love, generosity, and friendship.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Hans Gentile Sr., Dominick and Theresa Fickeria, and Pura Antunano.

Christine had a remarkable impact on every person she encountered. Inspirational, kind, loving, and wonderfully funny, she was truly a bright and spirited force whose strength and determination showed all of us what can be accomplished with faith, persistence, and heart. Even in the face of life’s challenges, she carried herself with grace, resilience, and deep love for those around her. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: sunlit days at the beach, laughter shared around the family table, and baking sweet treats for the people she loved. Her presence brought comfort and calm, and she had a rare and beautiful gift for making others feel seen, supported, and deeply cared for.

A wake will be held on February 18, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home on Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY. A Funeral Mass will follow on February 19, 2026, at St. Theresa Church, 1394 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to support the fight against cancer and help other families.
