Carol Ann Silverman, 68, passed away peacefully and in the company of family in Sleepy Hollow, NY, on September 28, 2024. Carol was born in Syracuse, NY, on December 31, 1955. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications from State University College at Buffalo in 1977. She married Eric Silverman on August 25, 1979. Since 1996, Carol pursued her passion of yoga by working as an instructor, leading teacher trainings, and striking poses anywhere from mountain tops to ocean coasts. She celebrated her taste in rock music by going to concerts and collecting posters. Fun-loving and charismatic, Carol will be remembered for her robust humor and colorful language. Carol is survived by her husband, Eric, daughter, Tanya (spouse Ady), son, Warren (spouse Jingwen), and her siblings, and Rose and Richard Hapanowich (spouse Michele). She is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Florence, and brother, Daniel. Visitation will be held at Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3-6 PM. Services and speeches will be starting at 4:45PM.
