Carmen DeJesus entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, she was 82 years old.

Carmen, also know as Delia, was a long time resident of Ossining, New York.  She was born on January 8, 1939 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to Carlos and Dolores Del Valle.  Delia was married to her devoted husband Emilio DeJesus who predeceased her.  They were married for 50 years.  She is survived by her loving children:  Emilio DeJesus (Denise) of Ossining, Carmen DeJesus (William) of North Carolina, Carlos DeJesus (Wanda) of Pleasantville, Luis DeJesus (Mildred) of Ossining and her adoring 7 grandchildren Michel, Luis Arturo , Carlos Miguel, Daniel, Anisa, Christian and Juan Pablo. Also surviving are her siblings Rosalia Rivera, Gladys DeJesus, Clotilde DeJesus and Alfredo Del Valle.

Delia was a gentle, loving soul who held her family and friends very close to her heart.  She was devoted to her children and grandchildren.  She loved to cook for her family and was an avid animal lover.

She will be dearly missed by all.  Visitation will take place Friday, September 17th from 5 – 9 at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home at 45 S. Highland Avenue, Ossining, NY.  A Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Church on Saturday at 10am; burial will follow at Dale Cemetery in Ossining.
