Antoinette M. Martinelli of Ossining, NY passed away peacefully on Monday May 25, 2020. She was 78 years of age. Antoinette was born in Corato, Bari, Italy on June 22, 1941, daughter of the late Rosaria Leo and Umberto Martinelli. Antoinette worked at Maryknoll Brothers Mail Department and Readers Digest for many years. She had a great love for her outdoor gardening and keeping her home beautiful both inside and outside. Miss Martinelli is survived by her close friend Vincent Malavarca from Ossining, two brothers Joseph Martinelli (Gemma) from Croton on Hudson, Sabino Martinelli (Denise) , and one sister Ernestine Martinelli both from Ossining, sister in law Claire Martinelli from Buchanan, brother in law Charles Swilpa from Colorado, eight nieces and nephews, Theresa Powell (Mike), Joseph Martinelli Jr. (Carrie), Robert Martinelli (Kristin), Roseann Rocha (Mike), Richard Martinelli (Rosina), Anthony Martinelli (Deirdre) and Nicola Swilpa (Joshua). Antoinette was predeceased by three sisters, Angela Swilpa, form Colorado, Ernestine 1, and Ernestine 2 from Corato, Italy and one brother Benedetto Martinelli from Buchanan.  A private graveside service will be held at St. Augustine Cemetery, Ossining, NY. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home, Ossining, NY. In lieu of flowers donations in Antoinette's name to the ASPCA in Briarcliff Manor, NY would be appreciated.
