Annie Laurie Billings recently passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She is survived by her husband, Gary Billings and two children, Parker and Elizabeth. Laurie, as she was known, was born in Gladewater, Texas. She and her husband met in UNC Chapel Hill and subsequently moved to New York after earning their degrees. Laurie was very active in the community especially St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Phelps Memorial Hospital, the Junior League, The Hudson Historical Society, and the Hackley Parents Association. There will be a small, private funeral ceremony followed by the scattering of her ashes in her beloved Peconic Bay in Long Island. WATERBURY & KELLY FUNERAL HOME
