Anna Marie "Nancy" Murray (nee Mulhern), 80, of Ossining New York passed away Tuesday October 24, at Westchester Medical Center. Anna Marie "Nancy" is survived by her son John William (Kathryn) Murray, daughter Joanne Patricia (Andrew Readinger) Murray, son Christopher Joseph (Gloria) Murray, daughter in law Tami Anne Murray and thirteen loving grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Her husband of 53 years, Joseph Michael Murray and her son, Stephen Patrick Murray, preceded her in death.  Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Nancy was born in Brooklyn New York and graduated from Fordham University in 1958 with a degree in teaching.   She lived much of her life in Sleepy Hollow, New York.  Throughout her life she maintained her passion for education.  She taught seventh grade at St. Theresa of Avila in Sleepy Hollow and fifth grade at Transfiguration in Tarrytown for many years.  Her colleagues, students and their parents always held her in high esteem and affection.  She always loved encountering and talking to her many former students in the area.  She was also an active member of Transfiguration Church where she also taught CCD and volunteered in the parish.  In recent years, she took great joy in following the pursuits of her grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Waterbury and Kelly Funeral Home on Friday, October 27, 2017.  Funeral will be held at St. Augustine Church in Ossining at 10:00 am on Saturday October 28, 2017.  In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Anna Marie "Nancy" Murray to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
