Angela Schilero, 98, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2026. She was born on March 15, 1928 in New York City, to Salvatore and Josephine Bellone. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Schilero, whom she married on May 18, 1952, and who passed in September 2011.
Angela was a loving mother to John Jr. (Fern), Richard (Cynthia) Schilero, and Joy Guido. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Christina, Michael, Christopher (Nicole) Schilero, Jessica (Joe) Migliore, Vincent and Daniel Guido, all of whom brought her immense joy.
She enjoyed a distinguished career as a Vice President at a large New York City firm, where she was deeply respected for her intelligence, leadership, dedication, and integrity. Her contributions left a lasting impression on her colleagues and the company.
Angela lived a full and meaningful life, centered around her family and a deep appreciation for education and culture. She found joy in reading, needlepoint, knitting, making handmade clothes, cooking, and making a warm and welcoming home. A generous friend, kind neighbor, and avid theatergoer, and her love for New York City she embraced life with curiosity and enthusiasm.
A strong believer in education and self-improvement, Angela lived with determination and quiet strength. She carried herself with grace and resilience, leaving behind a legacy of love, character, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.
