Ana Maria Castañeda, passed away on Tuesday, March 10th at the age of 21. She was born in Lima-Peru on August 8, 1998 to Ulises and Jessica Castañeda Ana came from Peru at the age of 4 years old and became am American Citizen at the age of 9 years old, she attended and graduated from the Ossining High School District.

Ana was one of the most remarkable daughter, sister, cousin and friend, she had a wonderful heart, love to help other people especially her older sister and her little brother. Ana had beautiful dreams for her life, when she was little love to play with her cousins and used to spend hours drawing with her sister Aracely. Ana besides being beautiful was very smart and very loving and caring for others people lives. Ana was part of a big Peruvian Immigrant family who expanded with her years of good times full of love and fun, she is going to be profoundly missed…

She is survived by her parents Ulises Castañeda and Jessica Castañeda, her sister Aracely and her little brother Thomas Castañeda, her grandparents Horacio and Maria Castañeda, her grandmother from Lima-Peru Felicita Herniquez de Hinojosa and her aunts from Lima-Peru Daice, Paola, Vanessa, Carmen Hinojosa and her uncle Wilmer Hinojosa from France and her aunt and uncle form Tarrytown, NY Rocio and Oswaldo Minchalo and her Uncle from New City Hector Castañeda.

Reposing, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Ann's Church, Ossining, NY on Saturday 10 AM. Interment, private. Do to these tough times the services will be limited to immediate family and friends only.
